Also, I usually park on the outer portions of parking lots with any vehicle to avoid damage from careless idiots so that is a wash for me. The great mirrors and backup cameras on newer vehicles help a lot in parking large trucks.
And yes Fish, the trailer tow mirrors on the F-150 are better than the ones on my Ram!:B
