OP, its your money get one if you want, who knows maybe your trailer will grow next.
For me I went from a 2011 f250 diesel to my current because I felt I was pushing the 250's suspension and yes my dually does tow better but I still know the trailer is back there. Winter I daily drive my truck and it has yet to present an issue, actually with the wide track from axle it is easier to park than the 250.
As for maintenance I think no matter what brand you will get used to the routine once you perform it a few times.
