I must admit I don't understand Wanting a Dually. I owned one once, because at the time it was the only thing that could safely tow the gooseneck trailer when loaded that I used to haul my Rock Crawler and off road race truck. I absolutely hated the truck. All but worthless on anything but smooth graded dirt roads, hit muddy ruts where the rear end didn't fit and life got tough, not to mention the sidewalls getting torn up from stuff getting stuck between the tires. I often drive to include towing in the snow and hated the truck there as well. All heavy duty trucks are terrible handling on anything but smooth highways, with the DRWs seeming to be the worst. If I don't need the heavy duty truck to haul, I don't want it. Give me a finely tuned progressive long travel suspension that's stiff enough to corner hard, but compliant enough to work the rough stuff. Add in 4X4 and lots of power and I'm a happy camper.
I guarantee my dually rides as good and most likely better than your 3500 RAM.
Ok, I'll bite. What's so different about your 2015 Ram 3500 vs his 2015 Ram 3500 that you can "guarantee" your ride quality is better? Not counting trim package is it not the same truck?
Ah ok Edit: I reread what he said. He owned a DRW "once" (not currently). So it's a your DRW vs his SRW kind of thing.
I am comparing my Dually ride to his new SRW. Both trucks have the exact front suspension.
Both trucks are 3500's, mine is longer and heavier along with this factory option. Two full length springs plus two half length springs and the bags.
Do you think it rides as good or better than mine? Before you answer keep in mind i have been in a truck like yours.
