Seems that most new Lance and other Travel Trailer owners with the BAL/NORCO frame are provided from the dealer the E2 Hitch with the universal inner and outer Link Plates that attach to the BAL/NORCO frame, These Link Plates are incorrect for the BAL/NORCO Frame and either have to be shimmed to fill the gap at the bottom to eliminate the constant shifting on the frame or replaced with the proper Link Plates made specifically for the BAL/NORCO frame.
I contacted the manufacture who confirmed that there are different Link Plates for the BAL/NORCO frame, the part numbers for the Universal Link Plates and those manufactured specifically for the BAL/NORCO frame are listed below;
Part #'s for the Universal Inner and Outer Link Plates:
Part # 93-02-5200 Inner Link Plate
Part # 93-02-5350 Outer Link Plate
Part #'s for the BAL/NORCO Inner and Outer Link Plates:
Part # 90-02-5204 Inner Link Plate
Part # 90-02-5374 Outer Link Plate
The manufacture informed me that once these link plates are installed and adjusted properly they should eliminate the constant Link Plate shifting on the BAL/NORCO frame.
Hope this is of help for those with BAL/NORCO trailer frames which have been around since the early 90's. NOT just Lance trailers but other manufactures as well.
