East Coast and West Coast floorplans

You should be able to order what you want at your local dealer. I did a quick search and found a few at west coast dealers but that depends on exactly where you are located. I do not think there are east/west coast models. Just that certain models sell better in one area than another. There are so many different models there is no way any dealer could carry them all as they do with cars.

Quick answer... no! There are differences for a reason. Plus shipping costs. If you really want one find a dealer to sell you what you want and have him ship it for you

Thanks. We just really liked the fact that you can give the kids their own space in a relatively small and lightweight trailer - haven't seen that in California. Trailers with this sort of functionality seem so much heavier...

The Passport line has two models because they have two factories putting out slightly different products tailored for each market. The west coast factory is near Pendleton, OR. You could always see if you can find a dealer somewhere east that will sell you that model.

Click onto the internet, find the trailer you want, wherever it might be in the country. Make the deal. Get in truck, drive there and get trailer.

That is what I did. I gladly spent a couple days of my time and a few hundred in fuel to get "exactly" what I wanted.

But then..... I love to drive, so just the thought of "road trip" has me grabbing the "go bag" and heading for the door......:B

Manufactuers sometimes have different models(floorplans), depending on which side of the country you live on.

What I found out in my research is the reason for west/east coast is due to the factory setup's that they have on each coast. For the West, we have more room in state/national parks thus larger units are build. For the east not so much thus the smaller units. I talked to three different plants about this.

Thank you! I had no idea there was a difference. I assumed you just ordered what you want, like cars and trucks.

One TT I've been researching, a Forest River Wildwood model -- for that line, the manufacturer has broken the U.S. plus Canada into no less than three sections, and each section has different models: West, NorthWest, and East.
