I believe the first part taking the southern tier should be ok, but what about southern Cali to Spokane in the middle of January? As a newbie I want to be confident and I am concerned about traveling if there is snow or ice. Any thought or recommendations would be appreciated.
Life is an adventure. Take the trip one day at a time and if the weather does not cooperate sit out a day or two. Don't find excuses why you can't do something. Get out on the road. If you can upgrade to a 3500 before heading out, do it! You will thank all of us that have taken the time to comment.
