I'd avoid traveling during bad road conditions.
Right now there's a foot of snow in the greater Spokane area. Roads are OK, since the temps were warming up above 32 degrees during the day, up until yesterday. It's now been below 32, and down in the mid 20s at night.
There's a few options to get from Cali to Spokane. Hwy 395 is one of them.
