Looking for used ECO Boost F150 for car use only. Don't need it for towing. What would readers recommend for configuration?

Shop for one with the 3.31 for max MPG! In a non towing setting.
Heck, the 3.7 is rated for 6400 lbs towing and has over 300 hp!
