One option I went without, but think would be helpful is the rear view camera. I use an aftermarket version to help me hookup, but the built in versions are nicer. After renting a car with one it is helpful to have a better view, particularly if you are in a busy parking lot.
As mentioned pick a gear ratio for milage. If you stick with two wheel drive you will lower cost, maintenance and improve milage. I like the 36 gallon tank and in 2012 that was only available in 4 wheel drive. That worked for me as I needed 4wd anyway.
One feature of the ecoboost I really appreciate is how quiet it is cursing down the highway with low rpms.
