Employee discount for Ford trucks
Does Ford still offer the X deals (I think it was X) to employees?

X plan is for people who have a connection with an employee.
I can get an X from my sister-in-laws mother-in-law, surviving spouse of a deceased A-plan retiree, if she hasn't given them all away to her own kids and grandkids.
I can get an X discount as a retiree of a Ford partner/client company, but I cannot generate an X PIN for anyone else. Even when working, all I could get was one X a year for myself, but my local Ford dealer always gave me a "better than X-plan" price when I shopped with him.
Employees get different discount plans, a little better than the X discount.
Other manufacturer have similar employee incentive plans. I bought one vehicle from Chrysler, when it was Daimler-Chrysler, using an X-equivalent PIN generated by my brother, retiree from a different Daimler subsidiary. But I've bought other Chrysler vehicles at a better price from the dealer, without the employee discount, which is not always the best deal you can get, because it is a fixed price.
