- SugarHillCTDExplorer(Moderator- sorry about the image size- thanks in advance for fixing it!)
Details-
it is a "Rhino Shelter" 12' wide, 28' long and (now) 11 feet high at an 8 foot width.
I picked it up from the dealer 1 hour away. Had our son come over and help put up the frame. I put the cover on by myself although a second person would make it easier.
If you look at the lower part you will see that It had to be raised just about 1 foot for clearance. In hindsight I should have bought the next size (height).
It is anchored to the ground with 8 of these (came with the shelter) . They are on 3' long cables and are driven into the ground 30" or so.
I added 4 of these just for good measure since we get some strong winds here.
My picture shows our sold and gone TC in there. We now have a short 5th wheel (actual length 27'-2") and it also fits.
It came with front and rear zippered doors. The rear one is on, but not the front one since it would make the opening too low to get either RV in (yeah, should have bought the higher unit :-( ) - northshoreExplorerThat enclosure looks pretty deep, whats the depth of that enclosure? Looks like the other end is inclosed? What method are you using to attach it to the ground?

Also would like to know how much clearance @ top/sides when backing in ?, Thanks
sugar hill,
can you give more info on your enclosure?
Did you build it your self, or have someone else put it up? - northshoreExplorersugar hill,
can you give more info on your enclosure?
Did you build it your self, or have someone else put it up? - SugarHillCTDExplorerA less permanent and less expensive alternative.
- bigfootfordNomad IIEnclosed ends with a roll up door or just a roof or roof and sides?
Some covers offer closed gables.... That adds another foot.
13' legs with an enclosed gable... 12' without.
Width should be 14', mine is 12', Knowing what I know now I would do 14. I store things on the walls. I added cross braces from leg to leg with hooks to hang things...
Do not skimp on the height... It is nice to be able to stand and work on your camper in the enclosure.
You can go online and order what you want... I did that for my shop and camper cave.
Here is mine. Note the enclosed gable.
Camper cave and my 30x30 shop... We painted the camper cave to match the shop.Click For Full-Size Image.
Jim - SiletzspeyExplorerMy 2015 F350 4x4 with 18" tires, 2-wedge stableloads and NL 9'6" QSE is 11'4", and that includes an A/C. At worst the A/C adds a few inches given all the other vents and TV antenna enclosure up top.
--SiletzSpey - Homeless_by_ChoExplorerMine is 11' 8" without A/C but I do have vent covers.
LeRoy - Grit_dogNavigatorMay I suggest using a tape measure?
- Old_DaysExplorer IIMy height is around 11 foot 4 inches but I don't have a air conditioner. That is when it is on the truck. You can buy a cover from Amazon for under 200 dollars. If I was going to build a building I would go at least 13 foot opening just in case you buy a bigger camper some day.
