Little late to the party.
I have two of each size of the save a step braces. I do not recommend them for worn out steps, especially if you do not have a static spot or are set up on anything but pavement.
I had a 4 step on my 5th. As it wore out and began to flex more than I liked, I got the braces. They were a pain to set up at each new camping spot. Spin, spin to get the right height. Then when you think it is solid, you go up the first step (solid) then second step and it would give a bit as your weight put different stresses on the various steps. PITB. Too much work for too little help.
I recommend you replace your worn out steps. No way a 2 step should be flexing.
We went to an RV show this spring and tried out and noted various step products. I was most happy with a 3 step by Flexco. Solid. None of the 4 steps were as solid. Bought directly from Flexco for $120. A 2 step is less than $95.
FlexcoI think you would be happier with new steps.
