Ever try to park in commercial zone with TC ?

My dually has commercial registration and normally with it I can park in commercial zones.
I know that you can also register station wagon as commercial and enjoy the same privileges.
Today , with my camper I had hard time to find parking spot long enough and was tempted to stop at designated commercial zone.
I know cops can leave a ticket applying or not, but what do I risk?
