obviously, the connection you are using on the outside is not connected to the antenna. May not even be hooked up inside. There are no rules on how these connections are wired inside your rig, all depends on who did the work, and what was on their mind that day. Get your RV tech to check all the wiring, and determine wnere the outside connector is attached. Sorry, that is the only way.
