F-250/F-350?
Anyone know the difference between an F-250 and F-350? The tow ratings are pretty much exactly the same? Any important differences in the build quality?

I bought a Softopper over the summer and have been extremely happy with it. ... I've also run it at 82 mph on the freeway on a windy day with no flapping at all.
The trade-off is security, but for my purposes it's been a great solution. I did a more complete review in this forum if you want to search for it, with pictures.

Get the extended warranty, Ford has denied a lot of warranty issues on the Super Duty. Get a price from your dealer and then ask Flood Ford for a quote, that's who I got mine from. Flood Ford just pumps out ESP all over the country at rock bottom prices. The Super Duty forums guys all get them there or they did in the recent past.
Since you are saying Ford is denying warranty, why would recommend he buy an extended warranty?:h
Because of the internet it would appear Ford is denying warranty all the time. Since Ford is still the #1 BRAND, it's apparent that truck buyers aren't concerned.
Google Ram and GM and see how many internet stories there are for them as well. They all do it.
To the OP, congratulations on the new truck. Sounds like a beauty.
Pictures are required!!

I kinda want a cap on mine for trips, but love an open bed the rest of the time. My wife vetoed the cap, so that made my decision pretty easy!

Now the decision is what height cap? Same as truck? Mid-height? or the tall one? I like the idea of Thule bars on top also.
