F150 3.5 Ecoboost-length and weight of camper you're towing

Yeah it's recommended when towing but they will run all day on 87. Put close to 3000 towing miles on last year all with 87. Hot, cold it didn't really matter. She just ran But the MPG was mostly sub 10 (7-10). I've done some experimenting with premium this year and it's 8-13 when towing. Unloaded MPG is really not much different at 16-19. But I have the 3.73's and 4x4 in a super crew so thats about average.
Gears do make a huge difference. Interesting that for 15+ Ford does max tow with 3.55 and 3.73 where 11-14 were 3.73 or 4.10 only for the max tow.
