F150 Eco Payload Sticker Question!

I'm looking for some payload sticker information on a few different trucks. I was wondering if the community could tell me what their stickers say. I' specifically looking for the following:
(all Super Crew 4x4 with Eco boost Please)

Lariat with Max Tow
Lariat with Max Tow & Heavy Duty Tow Package

XTR with Max Tow
XTR with Max Tow & Heavy Duty Tow Package

Please state whether your truck has a 5.5 or 6.5 box.
  • It may not be lying, but haven't you seen the ads that claim huge towing ratings for half ton pickups? The devil is in the details, which they gloss over in the ads. Towing a test weight which has little frontal area is a long way from towing a ten foot tall thirty five foot long travel trailer. You are correct, it is not lying to brag how it can "tow 11,000 pounds".

Why is it lying? There is an easy to read yellow sticker right on the door. If you are truck shopping and care about ratings, it should be the first thing you look at.

No offense to Henry Ford, but I kinda like all of the options. It allowed me to find just what I wanted. For my uses, I feel like the 3.55 gears put me right in the sweet spot of being able to occasionally tow and still get good mileage. If I had a heavier trailer or if I towed more miles a year, I know I could have gone w/ the HD options. Lighter or no towing and I could go 3.31 and get even better freeway mileage. I don't see the issue with having a variety of options. It just means that the consumer has to pay attention a little bit, which I don't think is unreasonable to expect or ask in a $40k transaction.

Oh, and my F150 doesn't have HD tow or payload, but the sticker says just under 1500# (can't remember precisely) for a well equipped XLT screw short bed.

You may want to look back at a thread showing actual yellow stickers for more information. It is easier for me to say that my truck has 3,000 pounds of payload than it is to Photoshop a fake sticker, although it can be done.

Your nomenclature is all marketing verbiage which at best is kinda
sorta in a direction of their ratings, but no where near their actual
    ratings

What is the GVWR, front GAWR, rear GAWR and the GCWR?

For get about the MTWR, as that is derived from a 'curb' vehicle...which
is the stripper model with no options, other than the tow option and
one 150lb driver. Some full fluids...some half a tank or eve less

Payload/cargo/etc listing on the door labels are also derived from a
'curb' vehicle. This is highly debatable and the only way solve this
is to go out and weigh the vehicle. There has been a few and a couple
have posted to confirm that the label is based on the 'curb' (stripper)
Best to actually weigh it to know what your true payload/cargo/etc is

Saying it is a 'half ton', or whatever is again marketing verbiage

Which half ton? There are three classes within a 'half ton' class A
ditto for 3/4 ton...there are several different GVWR's for that class
and another ditto for 1 ton...there are several GVWR's for that class too

Best to do your research and comparison using all of their 'real' ratings

Here is how the ratings system looks like in graphical form and note
to decide if you believe in the ratings system or not.

If not, then do whatever and know that you have taken them off the
    warranty and liability hook.

Also note that advice on these freebie forums is worth the price paid...
plus that they have no skin in the game, nor will they pay for any
    outcome from bad advice...

If yes, then learn how the ratings system works

Good luck and ask tons of questions.
