F150 rear axle gear change
I have a 1998 F150 4.6 V8 with 3.55 gears. Been doing some research trying to find out if I have 8.8 axles or 9.75. And also what parts do I need to complete the job? Thanks TecheMan

The standard 4.6L F150 had the 8.8" diff. But you mentioned in an earlier post that yours is the heavy duty model, which I think has the 7 lug wheels. I don't know, but I would bet a lot it's not an 8.8.
