I vote for an F250
I pulled a 24 ft TT with a 1978 Dodge Ramcharger (bout the size of your Tahoe) with a 318 V8 for many years. The truck was always struggling. I replaced the Ramcharger with a 2500 chevy with a 350 V8 with 3.73 gears, it handled the TT very well. I tried to upgrade the truck to pull a 12000 lb 5th and was right back with the struggle everytime I towed. Replaced the truck with a 3500 454 V8 and 3.60 gears...much better but I wasn't happy until I got my C4500 duramax/allison. Now I tow happy again.
You need to get as big of truck as you can afford for comfort and safety.
