favorite recipe for camping

there is a forum topic for this, but it's not very active. we have a 2-burner stove and a small fridge, so we have not been "cooking in" a lot - other than coffee and pancakes. What is your favorite small trailer cooking experience? stove or campfire? Easy and make-ahead is OK - just want ideas for next week.

  • With the exception of grilling more when RVing, our menu is pretty much the same as when we are home.
  • i've cooked just about everything, including roasting a large ham for Christmas in my little trailer. ok well, "in" is a stretch. I use my webber kettle grill for just about everything I can, keep the cooking mess out of the trailer.

Toast and eggs, sometimes sausage or bacon on the little stove... and side dishes to go with whatever's on the grill.

my favorite is sausage or ribs, simple rub, wood chunks and lots of time on the grill smoking. as the smell of meat wafts through the campground I notice a lot more folks walking by the campsite :)
