More a " hysteria " about Diesels in the US, that limits their uptake . Also Diesels are considerably dearer in the US than other countries

This is great news. I like the little EcoDiesel. Drives great. A little slow but man the MPG.

Neither , they have a different emphasis.,Euro stages are more aimed at CO2 and particulates , US N0x. " Euro" does not relate to Europe as such, but the type of restrictions. You get Japanese , Korean Trucks that have a "'Euro" compliance.

They certainly are not as strict and US compliant cannot be sold herr or in Europe.. Well US sales are a matter of hysteria, something that does not exist outside NA.
VM Motori is an Italian manufacturer of diesels, .RAM 3litre is built in Italy, it is a European engine that is sold globally , although it's US regs differ

The gov moves very slowly in all matters, but especially in an understaffed EPA. They are looking very hard at all diesel manufacturers and are in no particular hurry. Sadly this gives time for rumors to grow like mold in a flood house.
I'm glad that they have passed the inspection and can get on with business.

:) Hi, I'm not a diesel fan or a Dodge fan, but glad they got this sorted out and back on the market.
