BigFoot is still in business. They have a dealer in Tualatin, Oregon (Camper Outlet) with models on display; I've been there. Bigfoot differs from the others in that they are 8'-3" wide as opposed to the other brands at 7'+. They are relatively roomy compared to the others and offer a bath with a separate shower. Their 25' model offers a walk around RV queen bed. Our 25'RQ had 17 drawers and a tremendous amount of storage for its size. It was a nice rig for 2 people but small for more as the design precludes slides. They are made in Canada and are measured as overall length, the 25 ft" trailer has a 22' box.
The clamshell design is extremely stout and they don't flex much when towed. I bumped into a fairly heavy branch with mine, broke the branch and not a mark on the trailer. This branch would have shredded a rubber roof. They buff up nice and are attractive trailers. The BigFoots are heavy and will require at least a half ton truck.
Most of the brands have cult like followings. Combined with low production outputs makes for high resale values. We used ours for 5 years and sold it for what we paid (bought it used). Their floor plans have been the same for years so getting what you want may be a problem. Finding a good used one may take a while as the owners like keeping them. The new ones are really expensive for their size.
We sold our BigFoot as we needed more room for our Granddaughters. I have regretted it ever since.
