Amen! The GVWR stickers are solely for registration purposes. In fact, in California (probably other states as well) you can pay extra on top of your registration and register a truck for higher than the GVWR on the sticker. I've got a couple F550's and F350's that are registered for several thousand pounds more than their GVWR on the stickers. Go over scales all the time and have never had an issue.
