I am not saying that I purchased a Supertruck, but a Supercab. My only real point is that without opening the doors, I almost paid the same money for the same truck with a Eco 2.7 and 700 pounds less payload. Neither truck had any optional suspension or towing upgrades. Buyer beware. I do not mind giving up five percent fuel mileage for the difference.
Based on Ford's spec sheet your empty rear axle curb weight is likely around 2000 lbs. That really only gives you about 1800 lbs to play with in terms of cargo and hitch weight before you max out your RAWR. And likely more importantly your tire ratings, because most half tons come equipped pretty lightly in that regard.
