- greenenvy1ExplorerAnother vote for them from me. 75k miles on mine now. towing 50% of those miles. Very common tire with the commercial rv hauling crowd.
- Bird_FreakExplorer IIThanks for the info guys. They are being installed Monday.

I looked at the Duravis and like them but I asked about the Firestones because I can get them for $150.00 a tire installed out the door. By the time I got the Duravis and had them shipped, mounted and balanced I was at $100.00 a tire more.
although i am a michelin & contitnental guy :
right now tire rack has the bridgestone duravis R 500 tires on special for a similar price to the transforce .
the duravis r500 is a very substantial tire and weighs more than a similar firestone , michelin , continental , in the load range E category .
there have been some posters on this forum bragging about the duravis r500 and i have to say i do not find fault with that reccommendation .
i had limited experience with a set of firestones that were oem on my duramax .
i would check out the bridgestones ( on rebate ) at the same price as the firestones .
i have 60,000 on my michelins . they have not needed rebalancing , they are quiet , they handle well , place well in the tests , and the ofor $150 each mounted and balanced out the door price.nly drawback is the initial purchase price .
i may consider the duravis R500 when these michelins wear out .
assuming a big price discount to the michelins ........ - LowsuvExploreralthough i am a michelin & contitnental guy :

assuming a big price discount to the michelins ........ - LowRyterExplorerHad them on two different trucks, they wear well and handle well. The HT tires can get stuck in wet grass.
- davidafExplorerI have 22 miles on mine so far they have been flawless ;) My Goodyears lasted for almost 50k Miles. I expect at least the same with better road manners. They do feel stiffer but it's been a while since the GYs were new.
- john_betExplorer III had them put on my truck and trailer in Sept. I have less than 5k on the truck and about 2800 on the trailer. So far I am happy.
- WeBeFulltimersExplorerI have 29,000 miles on the ones on my truck and expect them to go about 50-55,000 total. Have had no problems. I had them force balanced when installed and they have been very smooth.
- mustangglpExplorerI have them on my trailer. They are nice looking tires I swore I would never buy Firestone's after all the problem's they have had in the past!
Now they are owned by bridgestone. Also the only ones I could find made in America. ( Canada) - RangeriderExplorerBought them to replace the Michelins on our Class C. No problems, but we only ran them ~ 2 years before we traded for our Class A.
