Don, great report, I appreciate your honesty on the report. Sounds like the EcoDiesel is doing exactly what it was designed to do, and doing it well.
IMHO the more aerodynamic the trailer the better the ED will perform towing. I don't think that weight has nearly as much to do with ease of towing with this motor as aerodynamics do. When you and the Mrs. Decide to shop for a TT I would recommend something lower to the ground with an angled or rounded front cap...something like the Apex, some of the Colemans, some Outbacks. The better aerodynamic trailers tend to have slides that are above floor level...you can spot them pretty easy because the wheel wells are not part of the slide outs. The slides are above the wheel wells.
