Most 1/2 ton owners that claim their truck couldn't do the job choose the wrong 1/2 ton truck.....or had a low performing older 1/2 ton truck.
Example many say their F150 had a 6800-7000 gvwr and small 3800 rawr small 1300-1400 lb payloads.....
If they had chosen wisely they would have had the F150HD 8200-7850 gvwr/4800 rawr/2400-2500 lb payloads or a step down...
F150 7500 gvwr with 4550 rawr with 2000-2200 lb payloads..or
F150 7050 gvwr and 4050 rawr and 1700-1800 lb payloads.
Or GMs 1500 max tow (NHT package) at 7600 gvwr and 4300 rawr/6.2 engine/8 speed tranny.
But anywayz glad you like the 3/4 ton with 9.5-10k gvwr and 6000-6500 rawr. These trucks are good for real world 3k lb + in the bed payloads plus the come with the diesel.
