Ford 2.7 v6 Turbo
Anyone towing with the new 2.7 V6 EcoBoost. Salesman at ford dealer said the 2.7 is as good as my 3.5 V6 . I have a 30 ft. #7000 wet TT

Run from that salesman but you should check the F150 towing specs to know for sure. The 2.7 V6 sounds like a good engine but am thinking that pulling that kind of weight would be a challenge even for the 3.5 Ecoboost. My travel trailer weighs 4770# empty and while the 3.5 Ecoboost has the power to pull it, one surely knows that all that weight is back there, I don't care to pull much more than that and feel safe. EDIT-Eat my words, the Ford towing spec sheet shows that you would be within limits, barely but within limits.
