Ford 2.7 v6 Turbo

Anyone towing with the new 2.7 V6 EcoBoost. Salesman at ford dealer said the 2.7 is as good as my 3.5 V6 . I have a 30 ft. #7000 wet TT

For that TT? Would advise a 6.7 liter V8 Ford F250 Powerstroke diesel.
