The 6.2 sounds great when reving high. Not loud or annoying. Matched with the 6sp tranny it pulls fine until it gets to the hills...big hills drop the tranny down to 2nd and it seems to stay there @ redline regardless of speed or grade. (Search 2nd gear runout). Using manual mode helps this but that is not for me as I want less to concentrate on when driving not more. I never had a single issue with my 6.2 and reported issues on the various Ford sites are few and far between. I switched because I do mostly mountain towing in western Canada and wanted more power (insert manly grunt) and I'm happy I did.
