I have a 2013 F150 set up with ECOboost, Max tow package, 8200 GVW, 4X4 and tow a 9k travel trailer. This truck severs as my DD as well as my service truck. I even tow a 5 ton dump trailer, my 32' 10K pontoon boat and snowplow the yard (done that a lot this year). This truck also severs as my mobile office, so it needs to be clean, quiet and well organized. Since I travel over some of the worse road in America (northern New England in the winter time) it needs to be a good ride (the road I was on yesterday the DOT boys were filling in the frost heaves with truck loads of dirt).
One thing no one has talked about is F150's trailer stabilization package or the integrated ABS. What a world of difference that makes.
My little F150 won't out tow, out pull or get the best fuel economy everything else on the road, but what it does do, it does very well.
