no srw trucks, but that one spring in the back makes a difference and so doesn't the door tag if you were to ever get pulled over. while it never happened to me I will say I feel a little more at ease knowing my truck now has enough capacity. If he hasn't bought the truck why not buy a 350/3500, prices aren't that much different.
But hey while your there its only another $1200 for a DRW truck.
See, that's where you're incorrect. If you order the camper package, the same rear overload spring that comes on the SRW 350 also comes on the 250. So, like I said, it can be physically the identical truck if properly equipped. As to being pulled over, only CA and rarely TX check private RV's for weight. The other 48 do not. You are correct that the price isn't much different. After adding the camper package to a 250 your only 500 or so away from a SRW 350. I only mention that they are the same because in some regions, 250's are more plentiful than SRW 350's so it might be easier to find the right deal on a 250. If special ordering, sure, go 350. I did. On the DRW thing, not everyone wants a long bed or fat hips. Nothing wrong with it if it's your flavor of ice cream. It's just not the right fit for everyone.
