Buy what you want, I was only saying that I had wished when I bought my previous truck I just skipped over and bought a 350. I think the entire 250 vs 350 has been beaten beyond belief on here.
Because depending on your insurance carrier or state they may be treated differently. There is a reason the F350 has the 10k GVWR option that only consists of the sticker. Sometimes you need to play the game to deal with over regulation.
