Troy the 2012 Charger I drove for two weeks had the T shifter and I didn't have any issues with it. The funny part about this is the fact that Audi uses the same type shifter and their customers don't seem to have a problem.
Must be Audi customers are smarter and understand how to read a display. My wife should sue FCA she got out of her 300 left it in drive and the car ran into the garage door. Thank goodness my truck was inside and the door hit the hitch and stopped the car. BTW her 300 has the rotary knob and she takes full responsibility for NOT shifting the car into PARK!
I will say it does take some getting use to not having a shifter but the learning curve for semi intelligent people is very short! :W
