The latest review said just that. GVWR stays the same, but payload jumps due to lighter curb weight.
They've updated that article with a photo of a chart of the 4x2 weights, GVWR, GAWR. The GVWRs all look lighter. And payloads maybe a bit more, 100-200# ?.
First info I've seen on this. Too bad they didn't get the 4x4 table too.
For Example my 4x2 SCab EcoB used to have 7500# GVWR and 2080# Max Payload (Catalogue). It's now 6900# GVWR and 2280# Max Payload.
