Late to this I know and am giving another thumbs up. We bought our '09 V10 F250 almost 2 years ago. I totally love it and the engine is wonderful. Very smooth and nice sound -if I were to close my eyes, I'd be in an F1 V10 Ferrari.
We bought ours as a fleet lease return for $12.5K with around 100K miles. We were specifically looking for a V10, long bed and supercab which was not easy to find and got lucky. Has a 4.10 LSD. It's even black which matches the trim on our TT. If there's one thing I wish it didn't have is the 4WD. It's higher off the ground and takes away from payload capacity. It tows fantastic and has plenty of power and then some when going up 7% grades with our 7K lb TT.
It gets 8-9 mpg highway when towing but it's a gas hog on short local trips to town but that's okay because it doesn't get much use over the winter
I'd buy another in a heartbeat.
