If you design for it the extra twist is not a bad thing.....it keeps your wheels planted with a more equal weight per wheel for traction purposes.....but again, you have to design for it.....this also appears to be unloaded, so I'm unsure of the value of the comparison.
That is what competition doesn't want to see.
I noticed on the picture that Ford suspension has about twice the travel as competitor.
That plays big role in offroading. - Kayteg1Explorer II

.......Aluminium makes much stiffer frame.......
1) How so, the Young's modulus of Aluminum is 1/3rd that of steel, so for the same configuration it would be 1/3rd as stiff.
2)the frame is not Aluminum.
The point is that you can't use aluminium for the same configuration.
To make the same strength, you have to use more material.
More material = less flex. - hbskiExplorerdeleted

- Kayteg1Explorer IIStill remember a year ago we walk over new bridge over Hoover Dam.
Beautiful scenery, but the huge bridge moves with single car driving over.
Semi-truck makes quite an experience when you are standing on the sidewalk.
If something like that can flex under 1/1000 of designated load, what do you expect from a truck under heavy load.

Does an rear anti sway bar add to or reduce __ frame --- flex ???
Not in any way that matters.
I think that is the correct answer.
Thank you.
All this nonsense about frame flex and whatnot, when 99%+ of trucks will NEVER be in a situation where the frame could even have an opportunity to flex (significantly) is... nonsense!
Ya run yer truck up on 3 ramps, ya deserve what ya get.
I bought and try use all my trucks and campers in an responsible non abusive manner and try to set them up in a way that fits the use I give them so I asked if adding a bar will add or reduce frame flex unbeknownst(sp) to you I do do a lot of off roading .example : we have been on every , high clearance road but one in Big Bend National Park .so to avoid future problems I asked for info that I and others might find useful!
