- ROBERTSUNRUSExplorer:) Hi, I like the new rear fenders; The earlier ones look like they came off of a Model "A".

Yes, but you've got the "other" 6.7L diesel.....;) Halmfamily wrote:
I am waiting for some super-singles and less rear fender profile.
Love the look of the truck but the dually fenders look like an after thought. GM and Ram fendera are more intergrated looking.- Me_AgainExplorer IIIGee my SRW 3500 4x4 can get over 20 at 65 MPH. Chris - PowerdudeExplorerThe price of a diesel engine keeps climbing, and the fuel economy keeps dropping due to EPA pollution regulations.
It would be interesting if they offered a cheaper, more economical, smaller diesel for the F250. Not everybody needs 840 ft. lbs. or more of torque.
The torque wars have gotten ridiculous and pointless. Used to be you could milk 20 mpg from a 4x2 7.3 liter F250. Not anymore. - TurnThePageExplorerI drive a Ram, and gotta say I really liked the previous Ford fenders better. Not very fond of these new ones, but I think I still like 'em more than the hippy Ram. The front end seems a little tall and busy for me though. This will be the real test of the aluminum body parts. Purty sure I'd drive it!

So hope its good and within about 5 years, your brand will get even better. :B
Hey FORD is catching up in 4 years on their new frame, so they are a year ahead of your schedule.
We will have to see if GM and RAM follow the Aluminum body route. All I know is these new trucks need high GVWR and RGAWR, as these new trucks are heavy right off the assembly line.
I should most likely not need another new truck at my age!
Chris - spoon059Explorer IIWow, that's a sharp looking truck! Looks like they are going to have some pretty impressive HP and torque numbers on the diesel too!
What is the 6.8 liter engine? Is that the V-10? I thought they got rid of that engine. Pretty cool if its still available.
I really like this truck, Ford really made some big improvements with the frame. Competition is a GOOD thing, lest some people here forget. - shepstoneExplorerActually the dually fenders are one of the things I like most about it. Just not sure about the rest of the truck yet..
