Gear lube question

I am about to change my rear differential fluid on my Chevy 2500HD with the G80. I know people are using Mobile One and Royal Purple, but When I read up on them it says they contain friction modifiers for limited slip. I thought you couldn't run modifier in the G80. Do I need to buy Gm's lube ?

    Thanks. Transfer case is done. Just replaced rear case half and case saver due to pump rub.

    I use Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90 in my GM's and added their Slip Lock without any problems. If you read the spec's on Severe Gear, I don't believe you need any additives for the G80 differential. Don't forget the front differential if it is 4x4 and don't forget the transfer case.
