I thought the 2019 GM twins 2500 series will remain with the 6.0 until the 2020 year whereas they will make the new version of the 2500. Regardless I have not used the 6.2 but have used the 6.0 series. GM LS engines are one of the best out there. Generally no issues, long lasting and proven design. I have not seen any issues with the 6.2 or 6.0. Common complaints are slow to reacting pedal due to TQ management in which u can get the truck programmed and it really wakes it up.......if in the future if they use an 6.2 version for the HD, that no doubt will be my next truck. Gas jobs are so easy to take care of and to deal with. It's just cheaper to own, easy to maintain and reliable, that's my experience and yes I have pulled with both diesel and gas. If you do have info from a reliable source on the 2500 getting the 6.2 please share it! I have heard the rumor for years but it's been a no go since the engine is aluminum. They should build it just like the 6.0 and use direct injection, it would be quite the tow monster....thanks
