Gee whiz! Let me interject here for a second. Having worked in manufacturing for a leading building materials manufacturer now for 32+ years I want to clear up a few misconceptions. The first one is that all management is bad and only cares about the bottom line, it has been my experience that this is total BS. The other is that the American worker regardless of skill or motivation is somehow better than all others or that everyone one of them is totally committed to being the best at what they do. I have worked both sides and I'm here to tell you that most people want to do the right thing but sometimes lack the skill or ability to do it right. I have never been asked as a manager to do anything immoral, unethical or illegal. It is always possible to have rogue individuals on both sides not doing the right thing!
