A buddy of mine is shopping for a new 1500 series truck. He's a GM guy (owns a Duramax powered 2500HD now), and wants a GM/Chevy 1500 truck. When shopping comparable trucks, he says he's finding GM wants about $5000 more than Ford or Ram - truck for truck. He's leaning to getting an F150 now simply because of the price difference. I think that's a significant factor for their poor sales in Canada anyway.
