This is a simple problem. The trucks are priced too high for what they are. I'm a GM guy, but the new 2014's are kinda "meh". No 6.2 available, and no 8 speed transmission. They really didn't even catch up to the offerings from Ford and Ram. They were supposed to be 500 lbs lighter, that didn't happen. Right now, what they've got is a comparable product for $5k more than the competition. Good luck with that. The truck configuration I bought new in 2009 for $36k is now $43k. Yeah right... That means that any 6.2 truck will be north of $50k. I can wait until they come to their senses, or until the used ones hit the market. Or I can run out and buy a Ram for much less.
