Been a GM buyer for most of my life - got the '03 6.0 w/3:73 and wish I could just buy another one just like it. Once we start looking at comparisons, value, discounts. price hikes, I then decide the only thing I care about is the dependability. My '03 has 206k miles - and still runs great ... but lets face it, 206k miles and I worry a bit when traveling far from the good old home-site, which happens most of the year.
My second worry, as always, buying an untried and new design power-train. Too many times, after several years, out comes the problems (major problems), right after the warranty expires. Then the class-action comes and the attorneys get rich while the truck owners get the $20 discount on new vehicle checks.
I'd like a new truck, I can afford a new truck, but I worry about buying a headache after all these great miles with this one. Can I buy a clone anywhere? :) :)
