BBBIIIGGG difference between a LOAN that gets paid back with some interest and a BAILOUT that never gets paid back. A loan is a loan, no matter where it comes from. A bailout is a handout, no matter where it comes from.
Think you're wrong. My understanding is that GM has made significant paybacks to the loan. BTW...loans to GM just didn't come from the US Govt., but also from the federal Govt. of Canada and the Canadian province of Ontario.
