How was this a personal attack on you? How was it "out of bounds"? You said you hate the political rant and it pisses you off. If that is true, you aren't required to read it. It was a simple suggestion. You need to calm down dude...
Let me address your four points for you...
#1 Had to do with patriotism. That has nothing to do with me or my posts, so I didn't mention it. I can be very patriotic and not support the current trend in our gov't.
#2 I've already agreed with you. Chrysler never paid back about $1.3 Billion HANDOUT, GM never paid back a $25 billion HANDOUT and Ford is REPAYING A LOAN.
#3 I haven't bashed the unions. Again, this has NOTHING to do with me or my posts, so I didn't mention it. Until the union work is betting paid hundreds of millions of dollars for leading a company into the ground, they won't be the biggest problem with this industry.
#4 I agree 100% that Detroit is a horribly mismanaged city. Between the corruption, crime and slowing of industry their tax base is almost non existent. However... this still has NOTHING to do with me or my posts, so I didn't mention it.
As you might be able to see, I didn't quote you "dishonestly" or make false accusations after twisting your words. I only replied to the portion of your argument that was with ME. I don't speak for anyone else here. I having been unpatriotic (though who are you to judge???), I never once mentioned the unions or the city of Detroit.
I was trying to keep my argument to my points and not delve into someone else's argument. I apologize for my attempt at brevity. I still see your posts toward me as a personal attack, for which you have made no attempt to retract or apologize for, thus further leading me to believe that you are somewhat of an "internet bully", one whom I am sure would slam his mouth shut pretty quickly if he ever came to the DC area and had a face to face with me.
