GM sale numbers falling even with new pickup line

The government helped save two companies that employ hundreds of thousands of workers and who help employ hundreds of thousands more at suppliers.

Boo hoo.

I'd much rather see tax dollars go to them than go to bankers, fighting needless wars, and propping up governments thousands of miles away.

It's not like your tax bill would go down if there had been no auto bailout. The government would have just spent that money on something else and the "something else" probably wouldn't have saved a single job.
