This is not the first time GM's combined sales exceeded Ford. What's really surprising is how many Chevy trucks outsold Ram compared to the previous numbers.
It really isn't that surprising to me if the rest of the US GM dealers had the same kind of rebates that GM dealers had around here in February. They were offering up to $6,500 of dollars cash back on top of 0% interest for up to 84 months plus no payments for 120 days on 1500s. That is pretty deep.
So when there's a spike in sales that must mean that manufacturer is giving big discounts...etc...
No, I never said that. I just noticed huge incentives on GMs in February.
I know you didn't... That's my conclusion.- Cummins12V98Explorer III

That’s simply BS!!! Whatever you make you should be living within your means and have enough saved to survive at YOUR income level.
How does one survive on a federal minimum wage of $8 hr? They don't, they make do! Barely
I do agree with thought. Here in Seattle even with it's $15 min, you make half of what is needed to live!

It will be interesting to see what happens when the Zombie Apocalypse is over.
Will people run out and buy new trucks/cars or, realize there are things more important than a new vehicle, like thousands of rolls of toilet paper?
I was just having that conversation with the wife. Will this make younger people appreciate what they have and quit spending willy-nilly? Will this experiance weed out all the uneeded things everyone has been wasting money on? Will the "on the edge" businesses make it? Will helping your kids with schoolwork become the norm again?
The stimulus package will be a double edge sword, giving away money to even those that don't need it or deserve it won't teach responsibility.
That's why if you make over something like $150,000 married, you don't get any money.
So I think if you are making less, you do in fact "need" it. - Bird_FreakExplorer IIWow! I wonder who sold the most washing machines or dryers.
