I think the point people keep forgetting is the 5.3 is the direct competitor to the 3.5 Ecoboost, such as the 6.2 GM is the competitor to the 6.2 Ford.

If you want to compare the 3.5 Ecoboost to the premium 6.2 engine of GM then thats fine...
