At the 2016 Houston Auto Show, I looked at a Titan HD Cummins that had a payload of just over 1300 lb. Your 754 lb tongue weight would chew up much of that.
Sounds to me like you need a real 2500 truck rather than a wannabe 2500 truck.
The Nissan Titan is not a 3/4 ton class truck. It should be compared to 1/2 ton trucks. As a 1/2 ton truck it stacks up pretty good with others in the same weight class. I would like to see Nissan up it's game to a 3/4 ton Titan.
